My Bio
Ruslana Levandovska practices visual fine art emphasizing on oil on canvas medium as the main approach. The technique takes from various art practices from old Masters, such as Flemish layering technique but also a combination of Impressionism within a romantic figure. The art illustrates sublimity and sensibility of passionate yet sorrowful human spirit while capturing the enchanting play of light in each painting. Each artwork is filled with emotion and detailed attention to have it be one of a kind original piece. The stories of the pieces share the life that the figures may once have lived. Some stories are inspired from mythological creatures recreating their lives and spirits. Refer to description of each painting to know more.
P.S. some pieces also vary within their medium, such as acrylic, pencil, acrylic on reverse glass, and others.
